Robert Wallace Starter Pack

The Robert Wallace Starter pack has everything a new learner needs to begin learning the bagpipes. Included in the pack is a Bagpipe Tutor Book One by Robert Wallace, an Ayrshire Bagpipes Standard Practice Chanter and a quality practice chanter reed.

The piping tutor book is a concise yet comprehensive tutor book which takes the beginner through all the instructions and movements necessary to become a top class piper. Each of the twenty lessons concentrates on a different aspect of bagpipe fingeringwork, with exercises to improve dexterity and to develop technique with suggested metronome timings for their practice. The first tune we learn is Amazing Grace, the well known hymn. Some students may be able to play the tune accurately after only a few weeks diligent study of this manual. Each lesson has either a sound or video clip to accompany it - so you can actually hear or see how to make the movements, not just read about them.
